The CEE in Western Newfoundland will position itself at the apex of a dynamic research cluster bringing together the critical mass of people, expertise, capital and entrepreneurial drive to fuel development in the region through its world-class research into critical environmental sustainability issues. Innovation in R&D will be key to the growth of the economy. The partnerships fostered by CEE will form the basis for the emerging environmental sustainability sector and an important component of job and wealth creation for Newfoundland and Labrador.
